Taylor Anton White’s art consistently defies categorization. He wryly explores the underbelly of human dilemmas, domesticity, and behaviors with unconventional materials and methods that marry both drawing and painting, the abstract and the figurative. His art addresses the chaos, vulnerabilities, and absurdness of the human condition.

White juxtaposes text, found objects, and cartoon-like images of houses, cars, people, and landscapes—often all within a single artwork. He utilizes a vast spectrum of media, ranging from spray paint, airbrush, and hand-sewn textiles to charcoal, oil sticks, and acrylic. Characterized by freneticism and raw immediacy, his images deliver punch lines about our oddball existence in playful and ironic ways.
