Kevin Sloan | Radiant Season - at the Denver Botanic Gardens

A reverie on the imperiled natural environment, Radiant Season invites you to observe the silent inhabitants with whom we share our world.

Sloan’s paintings elevate the often-overlooked plants, animals and discarded objects inhabiting the edges of the urban landscape—thistles, traffic cones, sparrows and the like. These works transform the quiet denizens of the natural (and unnatural) world into mysterious icons—radiant and quietly powerful.
