Denver Life Magazine Design Showhouse
This year, K Contemporary is proud partner with a variety of design teams to curate artwork into the Denver Life Magazine 2021 Designer Showhouse.
The display will feature works by Hunt Slonem, Ashley Eliza Williams, Nina Tichava, Kevin Sloan and Doug Kacena, curated by Dariya Bryant, in partnership with J Designs, Truss Interiors, Comstock Design, and Galiant Homes.
The Denver Life Magazine 2021 Designer Showhouse is a $3.4 million dollar mountain modern home in one of Colorado’s most coveted private golf neighborhoods, Colorado Golf Club in Parker, Colorado. Within the private community, you’ll find custom homes tucked away on multiple acres of pine trees and rolling hills; miles of trails and a championship golf course. Traffic yields to rafters of wild turkeys and grazing deer meandering throughout.
Built by Galiant Homes, this magnificent home is market-ready. At almost 8,000 square feet on three levels, it optimizes views with its soaring windows, western facing decks, and walk-out patios. The main level includes open living, dining, and kitchen space with butler’s pantry, work space/mudroom/laundry, 4 bay garage, guest bedroom with ensuite, study, and owner’s suite. The private upper level guest suite with private balcony has unobstructed Front Range views; on the lower level, find an in-home gym, family rec area with wine room and two junior suites.
Fourteen local design teams are contributing their talents in 2021 to create beautifully designed spaces in the house that not only highlight their talents and new design innovations—but also flow well together and align with the builder’s vision. Vendors have the opportunity to provide materials that enhance the home’s appeal and have their work on display. Guests donate, visit the home, and are inspired. Each year, our partners build new relationships and business, while gleaning around $100,000 of positive marketing exposure that raises funds for an important non-profit partner, American Heart Association Colorado.
